Paris Airport Transportation

Transportation inside Paris

The Metro is a very good solution for your transfers. It covers the entire city and goes even to remote quarters. If you plan on using it a lot, it is in your interest to buy a bundle of 10 tickets (carnet).

Another option would be to use the “carte orange”, which is valid for Metro, railway and buses for unlimited rides. It comes with a duration of a week or a month. There is also the card “Paris Visite”, with a duration of five days, valid for unlimited rides with all transport facilities. For just one day you should use the card “Formule 1”, also valid in all transport facilities. For trips outside the city, there is the suburban railway network RER, which has a relatively expensive ticket.

If you wish to get acquainted with the city on a bike, you can rent one from RATP. The French capital offers more than 150 km of special routes for bicycles.
